Franco’s Bar is back at it, shaking up something extra special to toast our 35th anniversary.

Introducing ‘The ’89’ – a smooth espresso-based cocktail crafted with the perfect liqueur ratios for the ultimate festive season drink.

INGREDIENTS

  1. A small scoop of ice
  2. 40ml spiced rum
  3. 60ml butterscotch liqueur
  4. 22ml espresso coffee (freshly brewed BBCC espresso)
  5. Dark chocolate for garnish

METHOD

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender or cocktail shaker.
  2. Blend for 15-20 seconds, or shake for 30 seconds until you’ve got a nice, foamy layer.
  3. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Finish with a generous sprinkle of shredded dark chocolate to decorate and make your drink a little bit sweeter.

Whip it up with your favourite BBCC espresso and let the celebrations begin!
