Co-founder of Byron Bay Coffee Company, Annie planted that very first coffee tree with Franco back in 1989, and hasn't slowed down since. From selling beans, to fuelling cafes across the globe, she's been the face and fierce driving force behind the brand's growth. Known for her fabulous outfits and unstoppable energy, Annie lights up the roastery as much as she does the local community. She pours her passion into the business, her team, and every cup of coffee, always with style, heart, and a spark that's pure Annie.

Franco, our forever-smiling coffee maestro, co-planted that very first tree with Annie back in 1989 and has been chasing flavour magic ever since. He leads the technical and creative heart of the business, meticulously roasting and blending to bring out the hidden aromas and quirks of every bean. When he's not tinkering with blends, you'll find him shaking up a cocktail with the same passion he pours into coffee, because for Franco, great flavour is a way of life.

Fiercely independent and effortlessly stylish, Kat keeps the roastery buzzing and the vibes just right. Cool, calm, and always one step ahead, especially after her essential morning espresso, she's the kind of manager everyone hopes to have. With years of dedication to BBCC and a long-standing background in the coffee industry, Kat brings deep experience to every cup. Known for her rare blend of capability and care, she does it all: the coffee, the team, and the magic in between. With her signature mix of skill and heart, she keeps it all running seamlessly, especially the coffee.

Simon, our cheeky coffee alchemist and Master Roaster, stands side-by-side with Franco to taste, test, and craft bold new blends, always chasing fresh flavour horizons. His years of hospitality wizardry make him the cafe partners' go-to, where he dishes out barista tips that boost both coffee and confidence. With a roaster's intuition and a knack for pushing flavour boundaries, Simon ensures every cup carries the soul of Byron Bay Coffee Company.

Luiz, our coffee-purist Papi, lives and breathes the craft, blending years of roasting know-how with enough warehouse wizardry to keep the factory crew humming. He's the calm in the daily coffee storm, steering the team through roasting runs, packing chaos, and the odd forklift tango. Fiercely loyal to flavour and fiercely cheeky with his humour, Luiz keeps both the beans and the people in line, just don't expect to see the punchline coming, it'll hit faster than a double ristretto.

Tegan is a coffee enthusiast with years of industry know-how and an enthusiasm that's seriously contagious. As our high-spirited Business Development Manager, she loves nothing more than connecting people with great coffee and helping cafes thrive.
Fuelled by her passion for the perfect brew (and maybe one too many lattes), Tegan brings buzz and flair to everything she does, and she's never short of a coffee tip or two to share along the way. We love her drive and the energy she brings to the BBCC Family.

Our factory 2IC and newest coffee roaster, Doc has been learning the craft for the past 12-months, mixing hard work with his trademark playful energy. From Keeping the factory humming to taking on the roaster with determination, he's diving into every part of the job with grit (and a grin).
Known as the life of the party and quick with his wit, Doc keeps the team laughing while making sure everything runs smoothly. With him around, the beans roast beautifully, the factory stays sharp, and the vibe is always high.

Effortlessly laid-back and grounded, Annalee is the heartbeat of the office. Fueled by coffee, good vibes, and just the right amount of ambition and authenticity, she keeps everything running smoothly with warmth and ease. She’s all about simplicity, efficiency, and a good chat—especially over a perfect espresso. No fuss, all style.

Miriam is sweet, kind, and fuelled by her morning latte and her love for clay. Calm and capable, she makes people feel welcome and keeps everything running smoothly. Off the clock, you'll find her at the pottery wheel, crafting beautiful pieces with the same care she brings to work.
Our quiet achiever and true jack of all trades, from office queen to factory princess, Miriam is the little ray of sunshine who makes sure everyone is looked after.

Claire is our resident music maven, full of energy and always chasing the next live gig. In the roastery, she's behind the scenes keeping everything moving, whether it's wrangling stock, jumping on the forklift, or making sure the factory runs smoothly.
Laid-back but laser-focused, Claire is another of our quiet achievers: dependable, capable , and always up for the task. She balances her love of live music with a can-do attitude at work, proving that whether it's bands or beans, she's always in the right groove.

Dean's the calm in the chaos, humble, steady, and full of quiet wit. With the experience of someone who's run his own business, he brings grounded energy that keeps everyone at ease. He's not the loudest in the room, but his perfectly timed dad jokes always get a reaction, usually an eye roll, sometimes a laugh, always a grin.

Jake keeps the machines singing and the grinders behaving, our resident coffee tech with the know-how to fix just about anything. With years of experience under his belt and an eye for detail, he's the guy we call when things need to run just right. Once the tools are down, it's all about the tunes. You'll find him behind the decks, spinning beats with the same smooth rhythm he brings to the job.

Accounts and Administration Team
Priscilla exudes positive energy in every interaction. Meticulous, funny and dependable, she gets things done with care, and always finds a way to make things happen. Whether she's on the phone or face-to-face, you're in very capable (and slightly unstoppable) hands.

One of the newest additions to the BBCC Family, Amy is a top-tier barista with a quiet warmth that shines through everything she does. These days you'll find her behind the scenes in the factory, steady and skilled, perfecting coffee with care.
When she's not hands-on with beans, Amy's indulging her love of classic cars, a passion as timeless as her approach to coffee. Heartfelt and hardworking, she's quickly become an essential part of the team.

Harry is a whirlwind of energy and laughs on the factory floor, keeping everyone on their toes and the vibe high. You never quite know what you're going to get with him, except that it won't be boring. Whether he's cracking jokes, keeping things moving, or belting out a tune or two, Harry brings the fun to every shift. Underneath all the antics, he's a hard worker who always gets the job done.

Emotional Support Animal
Chilli is our resident office dog, big bark, waggy tail. Sweet, loyal, and full of personality, she's part-time guard dog, full-time cuddle expert, keeping our days bright and morale sky-high.
