Byron Bay Coffee Company is looking for an energetic, reliable and detail-focused Production Assistant to become part of our friendly roastery team.
This is a casual position offering consistent hours across five days per week, with the opportunity to develop into a full-time role.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm, you’ll play an important part in preparing, packing and dispatching our coffee products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately labelling, filling and packing coffee products
- Operating and coordinating packing equipment
- Processing, preparing and dispatching customer orders
- Managing and replenishing stock
- Completing general warehouse and production duties
- Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe work environment
- Working with the production team to meet daily targets
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organised and ready to get involved. You’ll ideally have:
- Experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing, hospitality or a similar hands-on role
- A good level of physical fitness, including the ability to lift boxes, stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to work
- Clear communication skills and a positive attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Availability to work five 8-hour shifts per week
Experience in a coffee roastrey, barista or food production would be an advantage. A current forklift licence is also highly valued, but not essential.
