Beat the Summer Heat With Decadent Chocolate Milkshakes

Cool off in the summer heat with these refreshing milkshake recipes, showcasing our indulgent Drinking Chocolates.

 

DARK CHOC MINT MILKSHAKE WITH AERO CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS

2 Scoops of Chocolate Ice Cream
200ml of Milk
2 Heaped Tea Spoons of Dark Choc Mint Powder
60ml of Hot Water
4-5 Squares of Aero Mint Chocolate (or other type of mint chocolate of your choice)

METHOD

Dissolve the chocolate powder in hot water stirring until it forms a smooth chocolate syrup.

In a blender, mix the chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, milk and one square of Aero chocolate. Blend until the mixture is well combined (adjust the milk quantity for your preferred thickness).

Pour the mix into a highball glass or jar.

Chop four squares of Aero Mint Chocolate into small pieces and sprinkle them over the milkshake.

Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and add a straw before serving.

 

CHILLI CINNAMON CHOC MILKSHAKE WITH LINDT CHILLI CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS

2 Scoops of Chocolate Ice Cream
200ml of Milk
2 Heaped Tea Spoons of Chilli Cinnamon Choc Powder
60ml of Hot Water
2 Squares of Lindt ‘Excellence’ Chilli Dark Chocolate (or other chilli-infused chocolate of your choice)

METHOD

Dissolve the chocolate powder in hot water stirring until it forms a smooth chocolate syrup.

In a blender, mix the chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup and milk. Blend until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed (adjust the milk quantity for your preferred consistency).

Pour the mix into a highball glass or jar.

Grate two squares of Lindt chocolate and use it as a topping over the milkshake.

Garnish with a fresh Bird’s Eye chilli and a straw (optional).
